Junior Graphic and Web Designer – South Africa

Junior graphic and web designer wanted!

Are you a passionate and detail-oriented junior graphic and web designer? We’re seeking a talented individual who loves design and has a strong eye for detail. As a junior designer, you’ll work alongside a dynamic team, bringing fresh ideas and creative solutions to the table. Key responsibilities:

• Designing and creating assets for both digital and print mediums, including logos, adverts, brochures, web banners, social media posts (static and animated), emailers, Photoshop deep etching, signage and vehicle branding and mockups.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate identity requirements.
• Conceptualising and implementing creative campaigns.
• Understanding of graphical assets for web.
• Understanding the process of setting artwork for print.

Requirements:

• Degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in graphic design.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in print and web design.
• Basic web knowledge of CMS, WordPress, HTML, Woocommerce, and Mailchimp.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Microsoft Office (Mac-based).
• Good working knowledge of production and print.
• Experience in creating print-ready artwork, die-traces, and special finishes.

Advantages (non-essential):

• Experience in copywriting and proofreading.
• Advanced experience with WordPress.
• Creating HTML mailers.

Location: South Johannesburg. Own transport is essential!
